Environment Demands More
Since 2006, we have operated our factory floor as a school. It's not the kind where you sit and listen to lectures, but the kind where you break things and figure out why they break. That's how you make a stainless steel concrete screw that works in real life, not just on paper.
The stainless steel concrete screws fix a specific problem: rust. But not all stainless steel is the same, and not everyone needs marine-grade. You can make the right choice with the information on this page. This comes from 19 years of production runs and thousands of installations in the field.

Applications: Where stainless steel concrete bolts Are the Right Choice
1. Building on the coast and in the ocean
Standard fasteners don't work near salt water. In Florida dock projects, we've seen galvanized screws rust red after just 18 months.
Sinsun A4 stainless screws are required for:Fenders and dock cleats、Attachments to the seawall cap、Handrail systems for boardwalks、Signs on the beach.
Why Sinsun: It is made of 316 stainless steel and has a passivated finish. Tested in salt spray for over 5,000 hours. Your finished work won't have rust streaks.
2. Rain Screens and Facade Substructures:
Fasteners that won't rust behind the cladding are needed for modern building envelopes.
Stainless steel concrete screws hold:stainless steel screws for cement board、Brick slip ties、Brackets for rainscreen.
Our SIN-SSD screws were used in a Passivhaus project in the UK with 250mm of insulation. There were no problems with fixing in C45 concrete.
3. Fall protection which is critical for safety
Handrails, balcony railings, and guardrails need anchors that function effectively in cracked concrete.
Our designs that meet ETA standards are approved for:Posts for balcony railings、Handrails for stairs、Protection against the roof edge、Guardrails on the mezzanine.
The requirement for damaged concrete is that you need anchors that have been tested and approved for weakened conditions if the concrete cracks over time (due to thermal movement, settlement, or seismic activity). This is what our SIN-SSD series does.
4. Process food and make things in factories
Carbon steel fasteners are ruined by wash-down environments.
Stainless steel concrete screws are the norm for:Equipment in food plants、Brackets for conveyor support、Columns on the mezzanine、Anchors for pipe racks.
A4 stainless steel doesn't react with cleaning chemicals.

Hammer drills with carbide bits are recommended. The bit must be the same size as the screw (6mm screw = 6mm bit). To compensate for dust, drill depth = embedment depth + 10 mm
Everyone tends to skip this step. Concrete dust left in the hole can weaken it up to 50% weaker. You have two choices: Most effective: compressed air Alternatively, use a hand pump and wire brush (at least 4–5 cleaning cycles).
Use an electric wrench or an impact driver. Apply moderate speed – do not drive full throttle Stop when the head touches the fixture. Avoid over-torquing it.
