Sinsun Small Concrete Screws: Engineered for
Challenging Installations
Challenging Installations
Standard nails won't work to concrete surfaces like brick, masonry, or cement block. We heat-treat our small concrete nails in a special way to make them very durable and long-lasting. These small but strong masonry nails will hold wood framing, furring strips, or metal fixtures to a concrete wall without bending or breaking.
To use traditional anchors, you need to dig holes at least 50mm to 85mm deep. But that depth isn't always available on balconies, narrow slabs, curtain walls, and installations on top of things. Drilling deep can hit rebar, which can weaken the structure, or it may not be possible because the material is too thin.
The threads on Sinsun small concrete screws are designed to work well in shallow embedment, as little as 25mm in C20/25 concrete. However, they are still able to handle heavy loads in cracked and non-cracked conditions. The small size makes it possible to install in tight spaces where regular anchors can't be used.
Performance-Engineered:
Unmatched hardness: Short concrete nails with high-strength carbon wire are heat-treated to perfection.
Rust-Proof Finish: Featuring a thick zinc coating (galvanized), they offer excellent weather and corrosion resistance, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Precision Diamond Point: The ultra-sharp point ensures quick driving into tough cement walls, reducing concrete spalling or cracking.
Versatile Head Types: To meet the finishing requirements of different applications, we offer flat heads, countersunk heads, and headless options

"We install drywall track in business towers all over Dubai. Our standard is Sinsun 16 gauge spiral nails. They always run straight, never bend, and there are no wasted nails. A 25kg box lasts us for a week."
Lath attachment requires thousands of nails. The lightweight block we use here holds the sinsun twilled fluted nails perfectly. "The galvanized coating can handle humidity."
"Sinsun 1.25" smooth shank nails are great for installing junction boxes on concrete walls. They go fast, hold well, and are expensive. For years, my crew has used them."
Every day, I put up small signs on concrete walls. When you put Sinsun's black phosphate flat head nails in, they sink in and disappear against dark backgrounds. No need for touch-up paint."
"We carry Sinsun masonry nails because customers ask for them," says a hardware distributor in Mumbai, India. The quality is always the same; no one complains about bending or improper galvanizing. Boxes of 25 kg are well packed."
What size is a "small" concrete nail?
Small concrete nails are usually 16 to 18 gauge (0.065" to 0.052" in diameter) and 1" to 2" (25mm to 50mm) long.
Do I need to drill holes first for concrete nails?
No. Concrete nails are made to go straight into concrete, brick, or block without needing to be pre-drilled.
How big of a nail do I need for drywall track?
Use 1.25" to 1.5" 16 gauge spiral nails for standard drywall track (25 gauge steel).
What is the difference between a twilled shank and a spiral shank?
The spiral shank turns while driving to hold like a screw. Twilled has deep flutes that create the most friction, and both hold things very well.
Can you use concrete nails in bricks?
Yes. They work well in solid bricks. Make sure the nail goes into solid material for hollow brick.
Which hammer should I use?
A hammer that weighs 12 to 16 ounces is enough for 16 to 18 gauge nails. Hit straight to keep from bending.
Will nails made of concrete rust?
Nails that are bright and not coated will rust. Zinc plating gives basic protection. Hot-dipped galvanized metal won't rust for years when it's outside.
Is it okay to use small concrete nails in concrete with a lot of hard aggregate?
If the concrete is very hard or the aggregate is very thick, you might want to drill a small pilot hole first to keep it from bending.
Can you take out concrete nails?
Yes, with a cat's paw or a pry bar. They can be straightened out and used again for a short time.
How many items do I have to order?
The stock sizes are 500 kg, which is about 20 cartons. Custom production: 2,000 kg.
Do you have samples?
Yes. Please get in touch with our sales team if you would like samples. We will send you samples of the types and sizes you choose.
How do they come in their packaging?
The standard is 25 kg per carton. As requested, small boxes come in 1, 1.5, 2, 3, and 5 kg sizes. You can get custom packaging.
