Key Technical Features:
Hardness: Core hardness carefully controlled to prevent bending, yet soft enough for the wire to clinch properly.
Coating: HDG (Hot-Dipped Galvanized) available for exterior applications where rust is the enemy.
Wire Welds: Low-profile welding ensures the coil collapses evenly without snagging in the magazine.
Primary Applications
1. High-Speed Pallet Assembly & Repair
If your factory produces hundreds of pallets every day, speed is the most critical thing. With our 15-degree wire-welded coil nails, you can load up and start immediately because they are wire-collated. You don't have to reload every 30 seconds like stick nails. I've seen guys try to use regular framing nails on pallets, but the recoil and hardness don't work with recycled wood. Thanks to the controlled heat treatment, our nails pass through hardwood stringers without breaking. People on the shop floor refer to these pallet coil nails, and they are the most effective for this job because the coils load quickly.
2. Exterior Framing and Sheathing
You need holding power for framing walls and decks. The full round head versions (which are required by code in some places) give you that clamping force. Your deck boards won't move if you add a ring shank to them. We made our galvanized coating to handle moisture in treated lumber without black stains or rust. The Sinsun 21-degree plastic collated nails work with all kinds of nailers, from Bosch to Hitachi, whether you're a contractor framing a house or a DIY builder putting up a shed. They hold the wood tightly so that the "nail pop" that damages drywall later doesn't happen.

Sinsun Selection Guide: How to Pick the Right Nail for Your Gun
- Length isn't the only factor that matters when getting the nail to work with your gun. Based on the mistakes I see a lot, here's a quick pro tip:
- This is not up for debate: match the angle. A 21-degree gun won't work with a 15-degree nail, and vice versa. The magazine angle must be exactly right. Look at the bottom of your tool; that's where it's usually stamped. Contact us
Type of collation matters:
- Wire Collation: For large jobs such as pallets and crates, wire collation is most effective since the coil can hold more nails. You end up with small pieces of wire on the floor.
- Paper tape is excellent for roofing and siding where you don't want plastic left behind. It's cleaner, but it can be more sensitive to humidity.
- Plastic Sheet: Often used for framing. Very strong, but leaves plastic strips.
- Check the Shank: A smooth shank is fine for general framing. Always choose a ring shank for decks, fences, or any other place where wood will move. It works like a screw and locks into the fibers of wood.
