Type of collation matters:

- Paper tape is excellent for roofing and siding where you don't want plastic left behind. It's cleaner, but it can be more sensitive to humidity.
- Plastic Sheet: Often used for framing. Very strong, but leaves plastic strips.
- Check the Shank: A smooth shank is fine for general framing. Always choose a ring shank for decks, fences, or any other place where wood will move. It works like a screw and locks into the fibers of wood.

What is the difference between a full round head and a clipped head?
